چکیده
Abstract In deep drawing processes, the use of lubricants is mandatory in order to prevent wear on tools and surface damage formed sheet metal components. Here, frequently used are synthetic mineral oils, emulsions, waxes. However, these conventional have be applied material prior forming operation removed afterwards by cleaning processes. Additionally, often contain substances that harmful environment human health. To counteract economic ecological disadvantages, research currently being conducted a novel tribological system. For this, volatile media such as liquid carbon dioxide gaseous nitrogen used, introduced directly into friction zones between tool during under high pressure through special laser-drilled micro-holes. This paper covers latest investigations findings regarding design flow-optimized micro-holes, laser drilling process, characterization radii, expected when using lubrication medium CO 2 .

Real-time depth measurement for micro-holes drilled by lasers
An optical system based on the confocal principle has been developed for real-time precision measurements of the depth of micro-holes during the laser drilling process. The capability of the measuring system is theoretically predicted by the Gaussian lens formula and experimentally validated to achieve a sensitivity of 0.5 μm. A nanosecond laser system was used to drill holes, and the hole dept...

Cr-Ni coatings with the mass ratios of 17% Cr-83% Ni, 20% Cr-80% Ni and 24% Cr-76% Ni were fabricated on H13 hot work mould steel using a laser cladding (LC). The surface-interface morphologies, chemical elements, surface roughness and phase composition of the obtained Cr-Ni coatings were analysed using a scanning electron microscope (SEM), energy disperse spectroscopy (EDS), atomic force micro...
متن کاملLadd – Laser Assisted Deep Drawing
In the current work, cup drawing experiments with laser assistance are presented where only selected areas of the work piece have been heated up. Since the strongest deformations occur at the outer circumference of the blank, only that area has been heated up by a defocused laser beam. Selective laser heating of the work pieces was performed by diode as well as Nd:YAG laser radiation. The formi...

متن کاملDry Friction and Wear Performance of Micro Surface Textures Generated by Ultrasonic Assisted Face Turning
Nowadays the surface texturing has been widely recognized as a usable capability to improve the tribological systems. In this paper, ultrasonic assisted turning (UAT) isperformed to create the micro textures on the flat faces. Micro surface texturing ismade on the Al7075-T6 by the UAT in the face turning process. Then, the influences of cutting speed feed, vibration direction and vibration ampl...
